Вот только сейчас пришло письмо от Red Hat Certification Central. Текст письма:
Hello Alexander Ivanov:
Red Hat has announced general availability of Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6. Effective with the release of version 6, we will no longer offer the Red Hat Certified Technician (RHCT) exam. We are launching a new certification, Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) in its place. You can read about this new program at
https://www.redhat.com/certification/rhcsa/
You will continue to retain your RHCT and it will still be possible to verify your certification at
https://www.redhat.com/training/certification/verify
In addition, because you earned RHCT on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5, we will issue a Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 RHCSA to you retroactively by January 1, 2011. While there are some differences between RHCT and RHCSA, we believe that the common areas between them justify issuing this certification to you and hope that it proves useful to you and your career.
Please direct questions or comments to the certification team at
https://www.redhat.com/training/certification/comments.html
Best wishes! Red Hat Certification
Так что с 1 января 2011 года я официально буду Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA), что выглядит и звучит гораздо лучше, чем "техник" :)
